Whatever your interests, skills or expertise, there is a place for you within the Kilsture Forest Community Group.​​

Become a member


Members are central to KFCG and we encourage you to get involved in maintenance, appreciation and enjoyment of this beautiful forest.  

​

As a member you become part of the decision making process of KFCG operates, by attending our Annual General Meeting, nominating people to join the board,  and electing board members.

 

Members can help with planning and running our activities through the following sub-committees: 

 

  • Volunteer Group: developing the range of woodland management activities

  • Educational activities: finding out more about the forest, developing our citizen science programme 

  • Events: building our programme of events in the forest: Health & Well-being / Arts and Culture / Recreation
