Forest School

Thanks to the support from Kilgallioch Community Benefit Fund, the trustees and local people we have raised funds for Forest School.

This means that for the next three years, we can bring the magic of Kilsture Forest to primary children across the Machars—at no cost to the schools or families!

To raise funds for future match funding we are running a **GRAND PRIZE DRAW**

Tickets are £5 each and are available to purchase at The Riverbank, Newton Stewart, by emailing kilsturefunding@gmail.com or contacting Morag on 07510933545

Cash is preferred but a payment can be made by payment link (£4.20 donation received)

  • Maggie Kelly's (local artist) art in the woods session 

  • A veg box from Solway Edge Veg market garden

  • Venison package from local deer stalker Dougal Evans 

  • Sausage making session with Dougal Evans 

  • Ann Brown (local potter) will do a pottery workshop

  • Marjorie Lofti (local poet) will give free places on her regular online poetry workshop

  • x4 flute lessons with Julia Farrington 

  • Art session with local artist Jenny Edwards

  • ​Zentangle session with Ruby of Tangletastic

Terms and Conditions:

- The holiday accommodation kindly donated by Mr and Mrs Johnston Stewart will be available      off season 

- Prizes will be arranged for a date suitable to both parties

- The Riverbank afternoon tea will be delivered within the DG8 region or available for collection

- Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
